MarkMonitor announced the launch of .EU Sunrise Manager. The patent-pending solution is designed to significantly streamline the process associated with the identification of European trademarks, which are required for the early registration of .EU names.
“Because .EU is expected to be one of the most significant new domain name extensions since .COM, it is important for U.S. companies to get a jump on this now as this supporting trademark information must be gathered and provided to the registry, and even ’sunrise’ submittals will be first-come, first-served,” stated Chris Bounds, MarkMonitor COO.
By simply entering a company name, MarkMonitor’s .EU Sunrise Manager provides corporations with a list of all corresponding European Community Trademarks (CTM) holders, and then identifies all qualifying registrations including acceptable variations. All trademark information is then stored within MarkMonitor’s Domain Manager for submission at both the registry and the validation agent.
MarkMonitor’s .EU Sunrise Manager enables corporations to:
- Identify trademarks, collect evidentiary data and submit names for registration within minutes
- Capture and store associated trademark information
- Register approved domain variations bases upon existing trademark registrations
- Gain visibility into the registration process from pre-launch to submission and validation
MarkMonitor’s .EU Sunrise Manager also enables corporations to conduct trademark research and seamlessly submit names for registration. Domain names can be submitted in bulk for Phase 1 or Phase 2 as well.
With the EU Sunrise Manager, companies can view all names for submission within MarkMonitor’s Domain Manager and can search by trademark registration number, Sunrise Type (Phase 1 or Phase 2) and TLD. MarkMonitor’s staff of dedicated Client Services Managers will work with clients to compile all required documentation for submission to both the registry and the validation agent prior to the launch of the Sunrise Period.
For companies wishing to outsource the entire .EU registration process, MarkMonitor is also offering .EU White Glove Service(TM), which provides corporations with the highest levels of customer service to reduce time and complexity associated with .EU Sunrise Phase 1 and Phase 2 submissions. MarkMonitor’s White Glove Service provides assistance with trademark searching and documentary evidence capture and includes a complete portfolio review by in-house .EU expert prior to submission of domains at the registry.
