Go Daddy offers new DNS management tool
Go Daddy now is offering a user control panel to manage domain name system (DNS) records.
Domain registrar and Web hosting company Go Daddy now is offering a user control panel to manage domain name system (DNS) records.
The new DNS control panel will support both Go Daddy customers and non-Go Daddy customers. It will provide DNS management service for domain names .COM, .NET, and .ORG, as well as newer versions such as .TV, .DE, and .JP.
The user interface offers help options, including basic and advanced modes, which support management of hostnames, aliases, mail records (including Sender Policy Framework/Sender ID records) and Whois records.
“Every domain name, Web site address, and e-mail address on the Internet requires DNS in order to work,” said Bob Parsons, president and founder of The Go Daddy Group. “Go Daddy has put domain owners firmly in the driver’s seat with a powerful, yet easy-to-use DNS management tool situated on a reliable, dispersed network of servers.”
